Part 2.2 Perspective Shifts
The mind is like an enchanted forest, a tangle of mysterious trails and hidden secrets. As we delve into this mental forest, we uncover unexplored enigmas and unearth treasures of creativity. Each step reveals new possibilities, transforming once unimaginable ideas into vivid realities.
Imagine you’re THE DEVIL
What would a ruthless person do? How could they use malice to “shake things up”? What if we broke some things? How could someone malevolent manipulate you?
Imagine you’re WISE
He assumes the persona of an oracle. Why am I really doing this? What is the real vision and purpose of this project? Is there a deeper truth? What would make someone truly wise?
Imagine you’re AN EXPLORER
How can we break new ground? Are we thinking too locally? If we could rewrite the rules, what would we do differently? How would someone from a different culture approach this issue?
Imagine you’re an INGENIUS
What would you think if you didn’t know anything about it? How would a child interpret the problem or solution? What is the obvious solution and why is it good or bad?
Imagine you’re AN ALIEN
What would an alien say about the subject? By writing from the perspective of an alien, we can discover ideas and assumptions that help us think in a more “primordial” way.
Imagine you’re A RULER
What would you do if you were the boss, a wealthy investor or someone with absolute power? If you already had everyone’s support, how could you do things differently? What would a sensible leader suggest?
Imagine you’re A DISRUPTOR
Imagine you’re an entrepreneur who wants to shake up the industry or the status quo with a new vision of what can be. What would a disruptor do to challenge the existing order with a new vision of things? How could I forge a new path?
